Ed serves as Vice President of Technology & GIS Solutions at DVG, where he oversees the technologies used across the firm’s internal operations and deployed in customer solutions. He establishes technical direction, development practices, and quality standards across cybersecurity, GIS applications, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering, ensuring DVG’s solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable. He also leads DVG’s project management function, with project managers reporting directly to him, and sets standards for project planning, execution, reporting, and delivery accountability.

With more than 10 years of experience in geospatial systems and application development, Ed brings deep expertise in enterprise GIS architecture, web mapping, spatial analytics, and cloud-based platforms. His technical background spans Esri, Python, JavaScript, and Microsoft Azure, with experience leading enterprise GIS deployments, real-time geospatial workflows, multi-agency public safety platforms, and integrations across Microsoft and Esri technologies.

In his expanded leadership role, Ed guides technology evaluation and adoption, strengthens architecture and testing practices, and establishes consistent standards for deployment and ongoing support. He works with DVG’s executive leadership, technical teams, and project managers to align technology investments and project delivery with business priorities and customer needs. His oversight promotes disciplined management of scope, schedules, resources, and risk while developing staff capabilities and advancing innovation.
