GIS Developer

River is a GIS developer with nearly 30 years of experience creating map-centric applications and geospatial solutions. He specializes in web development, GIS, Azure, React, and Esri technology. Much of River’s career has focused on C# .NET applications for the electric and gas utility sector, including extensive work with ArcFM. At DVG, River brings a strong background in software development, spatial data, GIS education and training, and utility-focused technology solutions.

River graduated from Colorado State University in 1995 with a degree in Watershed Science. When he is not building geospatial applications, he enjoys long-distance backpacking with his dogs and lives in Portland with his husband and three dogs.
