Assignment
To create a custom web portal for the security staff and fellow employees, where incident and investigation data can be entered and tracked. The customer wanted a central hub to connect all aspects of the cases and possible threats to improve safety and increase awareness throughout all facilities.
Approach
Our approach was to immerse ourselves in the lives and daily activities of those who would be interacting with the web application. We knew we had to understand every aspect of their current process, their goals, and their vision for the future. The solution had to be easy to use, intuitive, and easily extended to add additional features as their mission changes. The solution continues to evolve, and we are very proud of what we are continuing to create.
Results
The results have been a great success for our customer, and they have greatly improved their time management through this custom responsive web application. It has made their workplace and facilities far safer and simpler to manage. We are now working with the customer to enhance the product to include GIS components that will further their ability for security, simplicity, and peace of mind.
