Introducing Kingsway Exterminator’s Field Team Manager. A desktop GIS routing application used for team management and task tracking.
Assignment
The purpose of this project is to build a system for Kingsway that enables field staff organization and management. The system must be designed to support a combination of mobile/desktop/cloud hardware, software, and functionality. Including but not limited to:
Route Accuracy
Route Creation Usability
Route Scheduling/Rescheduling
New/Changing GIS Data
Map Interface
Real-Time Operational Intelligence
Comprehensive Reporting
Approach
Our Agile approach was to first define customer requirements through a discovery phase, where we documented all aspects of the product and the internal customer processes. Through this process, we developed the information architecture and wireframes of the solution. A prototype was created to ensure we met all the client’s goals.
Results
The results proved to be a great success for the customer. The final product increased productivity & greatly reduced costs. As a result, we are extending the application to expand the geography covered for these contracts.
